Four products (definitely) worth trying!

All of the products I am about to discuss, I have been using for quite some time now. I’ll admit, I’m pretty lazy when it comes to skincare/ make up but these products are my go-to’s. They’re easy to use, aren’t super chemically and work well on my skin and hair.

Indigo and Iris – Levitate Mascara

Love. Love. Love. This mascara is awesome for so many reasons other than the fact that it’s a great mascara. 50% of the profits from sales of the mascara go towards curing treatable blindness in the Pacific Islands! Which I think its pretty blimmin’ fab. I have been using this mascara for around 2 months now. The mascara goes on easily and gives nice long lashes. Will definitely be purchasing again. No doubt about it.

Origins – No Puffery

This is a god send for me. I wake up most mornings with puffy eyes and generally have beautiful, big, blue bags under my eyes. This product is great for reducing puffiness and helping reduce the appearance of bags, but don’t be fooled, it will not magic them away. The product feels cool when you roll it on and I usually rub it into my skin with my fingers. If you want to have even more cooling effect you can keep it in the fridge. This is the first product I use in the morning and will continue to use. Not sure if I will re-purchase, keen to try the Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream.

Okana – Maximal Protection Cucumber & Lettuce Mist Toner

We all know I’m a huge fan of the Okana products (see my previous post), with their 100% natural ingredients. This toner is made from cucumber and lettuce juice and it does have a very light cucumber scent, nothing overpowering though. I have been using this toner in the evening after cleansing (usually with the foaming apple cleanser from Okana Skincare). It leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean and also feels soft to touch. In the mornings I have been using this toner to set make-up and while I don’t use much make-up its working well for me.

Lush Shampoo Bar

I have been using the “Soak and Float” shampoo bar for over a year now and it is honestly SO GOOD. I have tried a lot of shampoo bars and this is by far the best. It cleans my hair so well and doesn’t leave it dry and knotty like so many other shampoo bars. Not to mention the scent of the bar is delicious! Lucas and I both use this bar and it last us around 3 months (crazy huh?!).  Added bonus with this one, it doesn’t come in any packaging!

I’m keen to try some of the other Lush shampoo bars and I have just purchased one of the conditioner bars to test out!

*Okana toner was gifted, everything else is not gifted, sponsored etc…

  2. I’ve heard that lush products are good. I haven’t heard of the other three products thought. Skincare is sometimes hard cause you either end up falling asleep or have to rush to go somewhere in the morning. I’ll check out the Okana products.

    Much appreciated,
